KRISTEN KING
VP OF FINANCE
Kristen leads a team of accounting professionals in the functional areas of SEC Reporting, SOX Compliance and Technical Research at NiSource, Inc.
Much of Kristen’s career experience has been in the energy sector, with positions held most recently at Enviva, a biomass energy manufacturer based in Bethesda, Maryland. Kristen also held positions at the AES corporation in Arlington, VA. Prior to working at AES, Kristen began her career in public accounting in audit practice of KPMG in Chicago, Illinois.
Kristen received a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Toledo and a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of Notre Dame. She is a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) licensed in the state of Illinois.
Kristen loves traveling and eating the many cuisines of the world. She has traveled to 34 countries (and counting) and hopes to visit and experience as many countries and cultures as she can.
